Technical specifications should be accurate, discoverable, and free. This page explains how we verify, publish, and keep them up to date.
Every day, millions of people search for a device spec, a fault code, or a parameter table — and land on a page that's either out of date, wrong, or behind a login wall. TechSpecsHub exists to fix that.
Accurate. Every number on this site is traceable to a primary source — a manufacturer datasheet, a service manual, or a verifiable measurement.
Discoverable. Every spec page is structured for search engines and for humans. If you're typing "EcoFlow Delta Pro 3 battery capacity," you should get the answer in under 10 seconds.
Free. No paywalls, no email walls, no affiliate-gated content. The data on this site is published under open editorial standards and is available to anyone with a browser.
Six rules we apply to every spec we publish.
We always prefer the manufacturer's own documentation — service manuals, official spec sheets, firmware release notes, and public datasheets. Third-party retailer listings and marketing copy are never the sole source of truth for any technical number. Every spec page links to at least one primary source.
Every critical spec (battery capacity, inverter output, cycle life, operating temperature range) is checked against at least two independent sources before publication. When two sources disagree, we note the discrepancy rather than silently picking a number.
When a figure is derived (calculated from other data, estimated from a graph, or inferred by analogy), we clearly label it as such. Derived values are never presented as OEM specs. If we have to guess, we tell you we're guessing.
Manufacturers silently change components. "V2" batteries, revised inverters, different cell chemistries under the same model name. Where we can detect a revision, we document it. If a spec applies to a specific hardware version or firmware range, we say so explicitly.
Every page has a "Report an error" link. Corrections are reviewed within two business days, and when accepted, the correction is documented on the page. Readers who submit corrections that are accepted receive an attribution on the revised page unless they opt out.
Manufacturers cannot pay to have their devices listed, cannot pay to change a spec, and cannot pay to suppress an error code entry. Editorial decisions are made independently of any commercial relationship. We do run display advertising, but it never influences content.
What we currently publish — and what's on our roadmap.
Portable solar generators — EcoFlow, Jackery, Bluetti, Anker, Goal Zero, and more.
Toyota, Lexus, Tesla LFP battery modules — specs, fault codes, and diagnostics.
DJI Mavic, Air, and Mini series. Camera specs, flight params, gimbal error codes.
Robot vacuums, thermostats, displays — specs and common firmware issues.
Battery capacity, motor wattage, and controller parameters for popular e-bikes.
Build volume, print speed, nozzle temperature specs for FDM and resin printers.
Our editorial team reviews every message. If you're reporting an error, please include the spec, the page URL, and the source you're citing.
